Let’s go Fishing!
Sea Keeper offers groundfish fishing expeditions to Jeffreys Ledge in May, June and July.
One of the greatest off-shore fishing grounds in the Gulf of Maine, a “rock rib of New England”, Jeffreys Ledge extends in a sweeping arc from a point 20 miles off the coast of southern Maine to Cape Ann, Massachusetts. We will be targeting haddock, cod, pollock, halibut and redfish in terrain as varied as the hard rock spine on top of Jeffreys to the boulder reefs, gravel banks and deep gullies that extend into Bigelow Bight. While there we will encounter whales, dolphins and a wealth of marine life.
Full-day fishing trips for parties up to five people will leave from Camp Ellis town pier on the Saco River at 06:30 and expect to return by 16:30. We supply rods, fishing tackle and bait, with replacement lures available at cost. Please bring your lunch.
Contact us to schedule a deep-sea fishing trip this summer season. It’s fun!
